"Anywhere up here." Mark said, leading Amy into the hall.

Ike looked the girl over, and then noticed her blush. He made no mention of it, and answered,"Not a clue. Hell I don't even know where we are."

Amy walked with Mark, keeping an arm loosely around his waist for support. "Should we check inside the rooms? I don't know if they would have collapsed," she said, still a little disoriented. Where were they? And why were these rooms numbered. "Hey… this may sound really stupid, but where are we?"
*~*~*~*~*
"I'm not sure, but we could figure it out. We should look for others anyways." Cassie told Ike, coming a bit closer to him once she assessed that he wasn't a real threat to her. "What's your name?" she asked, not wanting to give hers first.

"The rooms may be collapsed, but I think we should only look in open doows." He said, then shook his head at the second question,"It's not stupid. This is Lonely Oaks Academy for the Gifted." He paused,"People like us."

"My name's Ike." He said, feeling that this girl wasn't too much of a threat. Unless she had some hidden power? It wasn't impossible. After all, half the people in Gail had powers.... Ike suddenly regretted telling her his true name.

Amy giggled at Mark's comment. "You're gifted, Mark? How so?" She asked, looking up at him, as he was quite a bit taller than her. They hadn't passed any open doors yet, and she figured Mark was paying attention, so Amy decided to keep less of an eye on them.
*~*~*~*~*
"Mine's Cassandra, but you can call me Cassie," she told him, giving him her real name as well. She looked around them then at the destruction, biting her lip softly. "Hey, would you freak out if I cleaned this place out a bit?" Cassie asked, thinking about her abilities.

"Cleaned out rubble?" Ike asked, he looked at the piles of stone around them, There's no way in hell she can move them on her own... He thought, but waited to see it himself...

Mark stretched out his scarred wings,"it isn''t normal to have wings." He said, as the tip of both wings touched the ceiling. He folded them again, and they lay flat against his back, blending to his coat.

"Yes, cleaned it out…" Cassie said, closing her eyes and focusing on a mental image of the objects on the floor. The more she focused on the item, the more she realized where it was supposed to fit in the room. To her, it seemed as though she was fitting together a puzzle. To Ike, it would look as though the rubble was flying back into place and melding itself there. Cassie stopped halfway through and sat down on the ground, looking over at Ike. "Told you you'd freak out." She said, playing with a charm on her wrist out of anxiety.
*~*~*~*~*
"That's… kind of true I guess. Why do you assume that I have powers as well?" Amy asked, moving her arm on his back slightly to make it easier for his wings to unfold and fold back up again. Mark really was quite comfy at the moment; Amy never wanted to let go of him.

"Why else would you be here?" Mark asked glancing into an open door. He saw the collapsed roofing, before he noticed the blood, and the arm out of the bottom..... He pressed on, avoiding it....No need to linger on the dead.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ike stared at the walls, as ideas of her power raced his mind....psychic? Elemental? Something that has to do with rock? What if it's not limited to anything? Similar thoughts pressed on him.
"I don't know? As a guest. I was in the hospital… so maybe there was an accident near the place?" Amy suggested feebly, leaning into Mark a little more. "Can we rest somewhere? I'm kind of tired."
*~*~*~*~*
"Come sit down with me for a bit before we leave… Really, I'm no threat," Cassie pleaded, biting her lip again as she watched Ike assess the work she'd done. She didn't want him getting the wrong impression of her just upon meeting her for the first time.
Ike sat, but kept his suspicions up. Just because someone says they're no threat, doesn't make it true....thus the reason he didn't say such things....
Mark walked to an open door, and although the wall had a bit of a hole in it-meaning that the only bit of was there was the corners-but the bed was intact, and only had som plaster dust on it."We can rest here."
"So…" Cassie said awkwardly, trying to think of something to say. She looked over at Ike, wondering what he was thinking. "You don't know where we are. Do you remember anything? I don't really myself."
"No. I was at home and now I'm here. And judging by my height, there was a bit of time in between...." Ike said, looking over to Cassie.
Cassie nodded, understanding. "My hair used to be longer… and I cant remember ever putting these clothes on," she explained.
Ike stood, and walked to the doorway."I'm going to continue looking around." He said, and walked out of the room.
Cassie got up and ran after him, going around the corner. "Hey wait. I can't come with you?" She asked, blushing harder than before. She didn't want to be left all alone in a run down building.
